SITMA staff attend a training course in Girona on piloting the G500 AUV

A training course on piloting the GIRONA 500 autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), designed by researchers in the Computer Vision and Robotics Research Group (VicoROB) at the University of Girona, was held in this university’s facilities in July (18–22 July 2016).

The course was attended by David Santana, SITMA’s Systems Engineer for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, and Antonio C. Domínguez, a researcher at the ULPGC’s SIANI University Institute.
