SITMA collaborates in organising a training course on the MicroRider sensor

Through a joint initiative with the companies Teledyne Webb Research and Rockland Scientific, SITMA has organised its first face-to-face training course in the field of marine technology, focusing in this case on the MicroRider turbulence sensor.

This four-day theoretical and practical course (10–13 May 2016) was held in the facilities of the Taliarte Marine Science & Technology Park. The course, attended by a total of eleven specialists from Canada, Portugal, Spain, South Africa and the USA, was brought to a close by the Canadian Ambassador in Spain, Jon Allen, and the ULPGC’s Rector, José Regidor.
