The video made by Rutgers University (USA) on the Challenger Mission in the South Atlantic, in which researcher Antonio J. González Ramos, head of SITMA’s Navigation & Data Management Unit, took part, is now available. This mission achieved a new milestone in Oceanography by completing the first circumnavigation of the South Atlantic with an autonomous underwater glider.
